Alaska Travel With Kids: Our 2-Week Epic Adventure

Conclusion

Alaska is not an obvious destination for travelers, especially for Asians. And those that do make the trip, it’s almost always on a cruise ship. If you want something different and make the most of your time and money, the best way to experience Alaska travel with your kids is by land, air, and sea. It’s not a cheap destination, so if this is going to be your one-and-only trip to America’s last frontier, you better make the most of it.

Our itinerary is a full Alaskan experience that we will remember for decades. It’s a great reminder that family vacations need not be about theme parks, zoos, science museums, toy stores, and famous landmarks.

And for all the wonders and beauty of manmade buildings, castles, monuments, temples, towers, and pyramids, nothing compares to God’s creation — mountains, glaciers, rivers, lakes, forests, and woods.

Alaska is not a foodie destination (you’ll eat a lot of pizzas and reindeer hotdogs) or shopping mecca (you’ll buy mostly souvenir shirts and knick-knacks). But it definitely is an adventure destination that you and your kids will cherish forever.
